ImgFlip etiquette tip: If your meme is denied, don’t be sad. Check stream description & other posts to see if it’s on-topic.

The stream system on Imgflip is really cool and fairly unique among meme websites. However, there are already hundreds of streams (and more popping up by the day), so it can be a learning curve and a bit overwhelming if you’re new.

I’ve spent enough time here to be pretty well acquainted with streams on Imgflip generally. If you have a specific question about where you think your meme should be posted, feel free to ask me, or ask a mod or another longtime user.

If you do that, click change settings while still in the generator after hitting generate meme or after submitting, click generate meme without changing anything, submit to correct stream, then delete the old image :)

imagine memenade or some youtuber is on here but submits to dead streams lol

That would be beyond science

I dunno, on a few occasions, mods have either unfeatured or disapproved of memes I’ve submitted on Dark_Humour. So all I could do was go to who_am_i to manually override them (because those memes I submitted were darker than 90% of that entire stream).

That really is unfortunate.

My advice for any new people is start on the large streams and slowly check out the other streams
