What headhunting? The investigation into Trump's taxes was precipitated by him breaking campaign finances laws when he paid off Stormy Daniel and Karen McDougall to keep silent about his affairs with them, among other things. They were further broadened after Michael Cohen's testimony about how Trump inflated asset values to get loans but would later devalue them for tax purposes, etc.

Headhunting is when you seek to get someone for being high profile, rather than the suspicion that they broke the law.

This is the statement that they accusation is based on, and considering it is from someone that has basically declared themselves liar, is extremely weak and thus supporting yet another fishing expedition after the first two found basically nothing.

Indeed. And the funny thing is how Trump thought nobody would notice. Trump has been dodgy all his life. Naturally it'll get looked into.
