Do but Samsung has a 4 camera phone and the 12 Pro Max only has two cameras and I’ve taken really amazing photos with my iPhone 7 and that’s with out any edits

Most of the time it depends on the software, really good cameras can look terrible without good camera software, and bad cameras can look decent with good software, also you never said what Samsung model you were talking about, and i'm guessing if you are using an iPhone 7 as your main phone you probably would not have a 1400$ new Samsung 20 series galaxy phone, so you cant really compare a mid-range iPhone 7 with a high end flagship Samsung galaxy 20 series phone especially if you haven't used it.

Point is that iPhones can still have amazing photos and a certain Samsung phone (I don’t know the model because I don’t have one) has 4 cameras.

But the "4 camera one" definitely has a better camera than the iPhone 7, I have a 2nd phone which has a mid-range 48mp camera, it used to take amazing photos, but since the last update it just just takes lower quality photos now, so it does matter of software a lot, and yes the iPhone 7 can take great photos, but the hardware matters too, the Samsung galaxy 20 series phones can take insane photos, but if they had like an update that can use the cameras full potential, then it might even take the most insanely amazing photos ever or something, and another thing, each of the 4 cameras has a different use, one is a macro lens to take photos of small things, it sounds useless but its a nice feature, one is an ultra wide lens for photos where you want to get a lot of things in one shot and there is one normal camera for, you guessed it normal photos, and again the software matters too, the iPhone 12 for example can take really great photos but it only has a 12 megapixel camera, so in conclusion the iPhone 7 can take great photos because its software was made to use the full potential of its camera, and also I don't really understand what you mean when you say Samsung has a 4 camera phone, and the iPhone 7 has good quality, its not a comparison if you are not talking about the Samsung's photos.
