60 generators.... I'm sure Abbott had a tough time figuring out how 60 generators were going to do jack shit for thousands without power. That's aid for ONE street in ONE subdivision.

Some of us were prepared for this sort of thing. The people suffering worst are the liberals in the big cities. Daddy government won't take care of you as well as you could take care of yourself.

Or, the republicans in charge of Texas could just do what the rest of the country has done and make sure that the fossil fuel companies use just a little bit of their profits to protect their infrastructure from the cold.

But not the greenie wind power generation companies, which are the ones who failed?

Smart!

Winds is ten percent of Texas power, only 15 percent of that failed. Fossil fuels are 90 percent of Texas power, of which 85 percent failed.

INCORRECT:

Wind/solar represents around 20% of the Texas grid. I'm sure that's going to change in the very near future...

Per ERCOT (Energy Reliability Council Of Texas),

"As of 9 a.m., approximately 46,000 MW of generation has been forced off the system during this extreme winter weather event. Of that, 28,000 MW is thermal and 18,000 MW is wind and solar."

40% of the offlined generation was wind/solar.

http://www.ercot.com/news/releases/show/225369

If you're going to look like an idiot, please - continue doing it publicly.

Something about running on a generator for 3 days motivates a person to research the reasons why it happened. I'm in the freezing middle of it. We still don't have water.....running water that is, I was prepared with 200 gallons....with the generator I was sitting pretty during this whole ordeal - but my neighbors weren't.

Yeah, your graph is more propaganda crap son. Why is it that folks all around the country and world use wind and solar with no issues in places that are ready for cold? Like Canada, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, etc. At least that crazy socialist AOC showed up in Texas with 5 million in donations from liberal sonars to help bail out the failed policies of a conservative run state for decades

I gotta move on, you should too. I can’t spend anymore time debunking your nonsense kiddo.

You have yet to debunk the government energy websites where I've gathered my information.

Get over it kid. The GOP created the Texas mess by allowing gas n oil companies to run wild without any oversight. That’s it. The politicians got their donations from the fossil fuel companies, then the politicians made sure there were no rules for the companies. Another example of how conservatives are incapable of leadership.

I have 4 grandchildren, you can stop calling me 'kid' - it doesn't make you sound any smarter.

Texas energy was guided by a 1999 legislative mandate to have a certain amount of "green" energy.

You should read more.

Hey, I apologize for disrespecting you . I assume we both want what is best for Americans. Texas republicans got it wrong this time. And Cuomo has made an ass out of himself too.

1 grandkid or 20, doesn’t make you sound like any less of a child and it certainly doesn’t make you correct. Republican leadership or lack of leadership caused what is happening in Texas. Get off the internet and go read , you’ll understand what is going on in the world much better.

Referencing government websites and data makes me sound like a child.....Ok, if you say so.

The sky is blue, 2 plus 2 is 4, Trump lost the most secure election in the nation’s history, Cuomo lied in New York, and republicans have spent 50 years lying to Texas voters. Simple crap kiddo

But hey, at least after four years, a crisis has occurred that the orange failure can’t be blamed for!
