Use 90 percent Nuclear and do away with ALL wind and solar. Does not provide peak or base power so, Useless. New generation Inherently safe. All Wind and solar do is line corrupt peoples pockets like all Gore who made 100 million dollars and get people to believe in this crap! Actually wind does not work for peak or base power. I am not necessarily against nuclear power, except for the meltdowns and waste associated with them. People are awful. Unregulated (or under regulated) people will do whatever is best for THEM. And these people run power companies. Any corner that can be cut is. In the name of profits.

Personally I think fossil fuels should be done away with. Produce electric with solar, wind, nuclear and convert transportation modes to mostly electric. Save the oil for all the other crap we need it for.

Put all the waste in one miniscule spot in a desert that is already designed for it. When technology is developed for reuse or it decays may have other uses. Nuclear medicine used everyday for cancer. New Nuclear designs 1/10th the size 1/3 of the power inherently safe by size and design.
