About a week after we became a couple I had a birthday party and a bunch of my friends spent the night at my house, including him. He actually fell asleep in my lap (which I found adorable), and in the morning another one of my friends noticed and made a gay joke and I think I blushed harder than I had in half a decade.

Aww, thanks! It's been a little hard lately because I haven't seen him for nearly a year now thanks to COVID, and I came out, but my family isn't going to be accepting unless they can "confirm" I'm actually pan, and they also (probably) outed my bf, who got a very bad reaction from his parents, but they're now, surprisingly, actually being more accepting than mine. So, we'll see what this next year brings.
