What's that scope mount? I dropped a full length 1943 vintage Mosin into an Archangel stock, too. I'm looking for a good scope mount.

I used a scope mount that replaced the rear sight, then a quick release rail and another scope mount in order to get the bolt to pass under without having to change the bolt. I'll try and find some links for you as to what I bought.

You don't need guns period.

So if someone breaks into your house and threatens you and your family, would you rather reach for a phone, or a gun. If it's a phone, I hope you're religious because you're gonna pray that the person carrying the gun makes it there on time

You make quite a fair point. What would you do? Maybe if there weren't guns in domestic house holds maybe their wouldn't be armed break ins or break ins at all for that matter. But there will always be problems with gun violence it really is just an inevitable factor.

Anyone who tries to break into my house isn't going to leave except by on a stretcher. Look at Texas, most people have guns and have one of the lowest gun violence in the country, then look at Chicago, strictest gun laws with the highest gun violence. Gun laws only hurt law- abiding citizens. Criminals don't care about laws. But please don't be the type to blame the gun, you wouldn't blame the car for a drunk driver right? I believe, if everyone had a gun, there'd be a lot of second guessing by criminals.

Excellent point but the criminals I'm more concerned about at this point are the ones taxing my paycheck and going on vacation after failing to get a conviction for the second time. You know, the ones the second amendment was written for.
