Our political process is failing us.

Yes, Biden won the election. There is no proof otherwise...but lots of reasons to suspect.

But deeper than that Congress has failed their constituents for years. Things are bad and getting worse and Congress does nothing about it.

The election. Congress serves the election results. That's the point. We vote in the election, and Congress has to respect that, and nobody is allowed to just ditch the election because they don't like who won.

They were wrong and should be held accountable, period. Elections should be respected. Elections, however, should not be interpreted as permission to ignore all dissenting ideas. 1 more vote than your opponent is not a license to destroy all who voted for them.

Congress were doing exactly what they were supposed to be doing in that situation and it was the mob who were demanding to ignor dissenting votes, not Congress.

I agree congress was in session. And as I said, elections should be respected and those who breached the Capital Building should be held accountable.

Congress were doing EXACTLY what they should have been doing. The destruction of opposing votes was what the mob wanted, not Congress. Congress was doing nothing wrong when the mob rushed them.

Just to be clear because I believe in being thorough, Biden won the election. Congress was doing exactly what they were supposed to be doing when these asshats demanded otherwise.

Congress was doing EXACTLY what they were supposed to be doing. It was the mob who were trying to extort an illegal action from them.

This is a thread about the mob rush on Congress. If you want to discuss something unrelated then you need to say so but you CLEARLY intend to establish a link between whatever you want to talk about and the rush on congress on January 6th.

Since my comments are muddying this post and may be taken as a distraction from the actual point of this post. They are now gone, I'll be more careful from now on and stick to context.
