You really believe the government is there to protect you and look after you?

I worked in and about health care management and public affairs for 35-years. For thirty of those years, I worked for the VA. Five of them were spent at a large non-profit that provides mental health services for children. I gave numerous interviews to local, regional, and national news media. Not once was I misquoted. I am a capitalist. So, I prefer that private companies control the development and sale of pharmaceuticals. In the past few years, they have developed drugs to cure Hepatitis-C and a form of Breast Cancer and COVID vaccinations.

Finally, that list of numbers means nothing. The population increased 10% and cancer deaths fell almost 30% over that period. In fact, cancer deaths fell 2.2% from 2016 to 2017. You show overall deaths increasing over that period. And, we do not have, and will not have, a total count of deaths for 2020 for several months. So, we have no way of comparing the aggregate number in any intelligent way.

What we do know is that the cause of death for about 450,000 (or more) people in 2020, was something that almost all medical doctors and experts say were mostly avoidable, but for Trump's failed policies. Some of them would have died last year, anyway. But, not many. You say so much, yet you say so little of value.

Yes Larry, population did increase and cancer deaths fell 2.2% from '16 to '17 - you say that as if cancer is the only cause of death in the US. Please don't make me laugh with that logic. But guess what? Weekly numbers are available. Why wont you look at them? Let me know the absolute worst week (according to you) last year for covid, and we'll compare it to other years. CDC "claims" (you may very well disagree) it was the 3rd week of the year, and these were the numbers I provided.

According to you, experts say most of these deaths were avoidable. Really? Are these the same experts who estimated 2.2M deaths from covid? Are these the same experts that outlawed Hydroxychloroquine as treatment? Same once who censored doctors from speaking out about it's benefits for treating covid and ruined their careers? Same experts who said HQC needs research? Only now, after being used for over 60 years? They couldn't have a treatment to justify lockdowns, could they? The moment Biden is sworn in the attitude towards HQC changed. All of the sudden study after study comes out on benefits of HQC.

Just curious,..at what point will you start attributing covid deaths to Biden? You know, the guy who 'had a plan, and Trump didn't'.

The guy at Oxford who predicted the 2.2-million deaths in America has admitted that he did so as part of a scenario he designed to scare Boris Johnson into taking action early last year. He had no real data to back it up. Deaths from communicable diseases can be avoided by disrupting their communication. That is as basic as medicine gets. And, I give my background to let the casual reader know that I have some knowledge of the subject, beyond the partisan crap recycled by some from Trump Cult sites.

It shows historical chronology of all of the times during American history, history of the world, Great Depression, financial collapse of 2008, the financial collapse of Chile in 1973, WTC bombing - that the authoritarian elements in a society, large corporations, wealthy plutocrats and oligarchs, wealthy families and individuals, use crises to shift wealth upward, to obliterate the middle classes of those countries and clamp down totalitarian controls. In order to transform the government so that it rewards the rich with even more wealth, they have to get rid of civil rights, and the first civil right they all begin with is freedom of speech. They need to clamp down on censorship, because freedom of speech is the most important right. Our forefathers put that as number one in the Bill of Right, because all other right depend on it.

The wealth transfer has already happened, as has censorship and chipping away at our freedom of speech. You can't deny that. While small and mid-size businesses are force to close, Amazon: profit up 100%; Walmart: profit up 80%; Target: profit up 80%; Lowe’s: profit up 74% - Microsoft, Facebook, Apple, Google: stock at record high.
