I am actually wondering if that is a real paper article and if so, I'd like to see the full article so that I can see what they mean. If so that headline was really effective... Headlines are after all supposed to make you buy the paper when you see it lying in a store so you can find out what comes next.

Death not explained but believed to be carbonmonoxide poisoning due to the barbecue present on that specific party. I already thought the actual death wouldn't be as kinky as the headline implied, yet the headline is not a lie. If baking a sausage as a sex party leads you to breathing in carbonmonoxide (which is very well possible with a barbecue) and that gas kills you (and that gas is very poisonous and treacherous) then yeah, the headline fits.

Carbonmonoxide (CO in chemical notation) is a gas you don't smell or see and prevents you from getting oxygen, as a result you will feel only a bit dizzy and eventually fall unconscious and die. The woman noted in the article was also found unconscious but came to when under medical treatment. She has likely not being exposed to the gas as long as the man and thus they could have been in time to save her. This gas does not leave many traces, but fires from barbecues can create this gas, so the story appears to be very plausible on this point.

So the headline sounds pretty kinky, but what happened is actually stupidity that was not even sex related as the barbecue was set in a tent. Aside from the danger of fire, none of the gasses that can emit from the barbecue can escape from a tent, so yeah, that was just an almonst death waiting to happen.

Carbon monoxide is really really terrible stuff.

Yeah, something like that, eh? Well truth is some executions of sexual fantasies have been the cause of deaths. However I already had the feeling that it was a normal sausage here and that something silly like that was happening, although I was first thinking about a sausage going the wrong way down after swallowing it (how do you call that in English?) causing him to suffocate, which was also possible (and easier to track than a carbon monoxide poison case).

But the truth is that people have been doing very idiotic things in order to live their sexual fantasies, and some of them so stupid that I don't wanna speak of "accidents" anymore. Now I must say, if you've ever seen shows such as "America's funniest home videos" you know that people can also be idiots outside the field of sexual fantasies.
