Funny how life imitates art. I submitted this on Saturday, February 6th.
On Sunday, February 7th I went out for my annual birthday brunch, something that I do every year on the Sunday before my birthday. It's also fun to do because this year it was Superbowl Sunday. So, I went to my nearest Golden Corral and guess what - THEY WERE OUT OF BUSINESS!
The upside is that I went to a kick ass, family owned restaurant and had a huge smothered breakfast burrito. Food and service were both great.
I guess that the moral of the story is to support your local family owned businesses.
