I've seen men die I lost my hearing partial site a bomb dropped on deck and exploded 3 guys were killed I spent 17 days on the hospital ship hope. then went back to the ship I could have opted out. but I did my full 4 years 2.5 in vietnam so again you assumed that I was Bull shitting get in my shoes and try to sleep some nites for 2.5 years you never knew when the siren would go off .how many how fast and how many minutes you had until you knew the NVC would try to kill you.
