You can fact check the facts of the political activity. Like controlling information, I can tell you they are guilty of that. The whole world saw it. Did that influence the election? Polls said yes. Is that illegal? The law says it is. Contributions in kind to a presidential
Candidate are illegal. What the social media and media companies did was made massive contributions in kind to the Biden campaign. Guilty, punish them.

my stance is that they did that in 2016 also, but with a different outcome. i think the american public is responsible for educating themselves and voting. facebook and twitter may have been heavy handed, and biden very quiet. the argument that the media swayed votes is not very strong.

just the voter and the ballot, that is where decisions are made.

When you withhold new stories that are unfavorable you are putting your finger on the scale of the election. Same applies if you only run stories critical of a single candidate. There are laws regulating this during elections.

have we not faced the fact that cross tier campaigning makes this really hard to prove. hunter biden's laptop, hillary's emails, trumps woodward interview, russian hacking, all these stories lead into the campaign. the debates were the most important feature for the citizenry.

there is so much paid and sponsored press who controls what who reads is actually an algorithm to understand, but it is dynamic and customized.

we do not all see the same news stories in the same order at the same time.

just like meme's here get pre arranged at times.

Information is power and power corrupts. It must be checked and looked into. Even if nothing is found or election confidence is eroded.

The media sways publics 'perception' and perception is the key to control the masses.

Yes, they did do that in 2016 as well, but it was nowhere near 2020 operation. In 2016 they were all expecting HRC to win easily, so they weren't as aggressive. This is something that they (people behind the scene) have been doing for a long time prior. People electing a person they voted for is the "fragility" of the system they're so concerned with.

It wasn't just media, but big tech, hollywood, fortune 500, athletes and celebrities, all pushing the sam BS onto the public.
