During my 1950s' childhood, any weirdo-relative living in an in-law apartment would have become a candidate for "insane asylum committal" as soon as s/he started spewing the kind of lunatic ideation that consumes Trump Cult, a coven of crazies who subscribe to QAnon, a new secular religion with its own messiah (i.e., Donald Trump) and its own resurrection (i.e., John Kennedy Jr. is not dead).

I tried reading your newsfrombarbaria links but most of them just seemed to be link chains. What ones were not didn't really seem to have any argument against the claims. It seems like the ones who are against QAnon "doth protest too much". The protests against people they accuse of being crazy only lend legitimacy to QAnon. Why don't you just shut up about them and let them disappear if they are so crazy?

I hope you're right, but as I read history formidable enemies rarely "just disappear."

It's rather like "the invisible hand" supposedly achieving the best of all possible world's by "just getting out of the way," counsel that is good for plutocrats and autocrats but never for The General Welfare, The Common Good, or a truly Social Contract.

For "the good" to manifest broadly, there must be effort, design, the development of virtue, and education.
