Why should I have seen a dentist. Could have been a hygienist just as easy as a dentist.
Why are you such a race-baiting sphincter muscle?

'Why should I have seen a dentist.'
Because implicit bias of course.
It just goes to show how bullshit the theory of implicit bias is or it could be how bad the example chosen to demonstrate it was.
But after all it is just a theory which does not hold it's own under a minuscule amount of scrutiny and anyone espousing it as reality is the racist themselves but at a much deeper level than someone mistaking a profession because of common visual cues.
Those visual cues making someone believe that the person holds a particular occupation are only what a sane individual of at least average intelligence would discern. Those pushing this theory should question their own intelligence as it compares to the rest of the population.

You are saying that you "don't want to be around" a chunk of some 12-15% of the country's population? You feel comfortable prejudging millions of people?

Did you ever wonder why Black people feel targeted, when others make statements like that?

You are free to leave this diverse, pluralistic democracy any time. Black Americans have been contributing to it from the beginning.

Looks like a little less than 0.03% of the population -- but your argument implies that this is a reason to hate or fear Black people. I'm guessing that in the days of Al Capone, you would have feared all Italian Americans?

That is broad, overgeneralized and biased. There's good data to suggest that the 58% you're referring to is a symptom of weighted enforcement.

My neighborhood is friendlier and safer because of my Black neighbors.

Google it, my friend. Or work it out: I used the approximate population of 2.71 million and found the homicides were approximately (a little lower than) 0.03%. Quite a lot. They're having a bad year. I'd point the finger there for Corona-stress, poverty, et cetera, since no one's skin makes them a murderer.
