President is accountable. Who's President, even if in name only?

He is trying to consider the Republican ideas, as part of his bi-partisan approach to politics. As important as this is, it should not be politicized. One-sided legislation, as well-intentioned as it may be, will not have the same level of support as a plan that everyone has input to. But, we need the where-with-all to get a majority of Americans vaccinated, as soon as possible. Many of the other issues are pressing and need swift consensus. The Democrats in the Senate are itching to use Reconciliation.

The Republicans will need positive acts that they can point to as the trials of Trump's insurgents move forward. The Trump Impeachment will be divisive, but nothing new. One defense lawyer for an insurgent said it would take magic to get his guy off. I am old enough to remember the daily diet of negative news for Democrats out of the Chicago Seven trial. The Democrats could have nominated Jesus in 1972 and they would have lost. The hardcore Trump faithful may not think that 1-6-21 will have a long-term, negative impact. That was less than a month ago. Wait for the Shitstorm Tsumani of insurgents blaming Trump, and by association the Republican Party, for their crimes. That is why Republicans should do anything they can to build a positive image now. They don't have the luxury of trying to block everything and blame the Democrats like they did 2009-2016.

Looks like Joey is already applying republican ideas,.. Trump's ideas. You ok with that? Copying ideas of the 'president pandemic' and all? Why weren't you calling for bi-partisan approach last year, when no one wanted to work with Trump? It wasn't about the virus, was it? But to make sure he "fails in the eyes of the public" and slips up in the polls.

The moment Biden steps in everything changes. Amazon offers to help with the distribution of the vaccine. Help they previously denied Trump admin. In late Dec. mayors and governors are calling for the opening of schools and the economy - something Trump was calling for months. Did covid numbers change? No. What changed? Trump was out, that changed.

The day Biden is sworn in, both WHO and CDC admit their PCR tests create false positives. (This was mentioned for good portion of last year but censored by Big Tech and MSM labeled it a conspiracy theory.) Hydroxychloroquine is once again safe to use. Amazing how all that works? Now the cases have begun to go down - 37% lower last week alone in CA - and morons will believe that it's all because of the double-mask wearing.

People should not be taking that mRNA vaccine, unless they're stupid enough to be guinea pigs for a gene altering experiment for a virus with a 99.98% recovery rate. Vaccine does not prevent you from catching covid, or transmitting it, you still need to wear a mask and social distance. WTF is the point then?

You need to look at the mortality rates in this country and others, from all causes for the last 5-10 years. They're all the same. There is no pandemic. Covid is real, but not more deadlier then the flu for people with weak immune systems - sick and old. (While you're looking at the numbers, ask yourself what happened to flu?) CDC claims only 6% of people died of covid alone, everyone else had at least 2.6 underlying conditions. In Italy, 99% of those who died from covid had other illness. In Canada, 82% of covid death happened in Long Term Care Homes. GTFO it's a bad flu.

Party of "science", please look at the data.

You really live in a fantasyland. We support prosecution for anyone that goes onto public or private property and breaks the law. That includes the thousands of leftist insurgents from BLM/antifa that have been breaking the law being violent and destructive the past few years.

The weak Republicans in congress ALREADY are to blame for allowing the election to be stolen. The only thing they could do to create a positive image would be to ensure future elections are legitimate.

I live in the land where I read stories on a daily basis of mainstream Republicans, conservative/libertarian types like most of my family members, are leaving the Republican Party in larger numbers. In addition to the Lincoln Project folks, there are other organizations that popped up specifically to oppose Trump and his cult. Today, the feature story was about the glut of former Bush Administration officials who have left the party. Successful politics thrive on the addition of supporters and voters. The Trump cult continues to drive people away.

I should encourage the White-Wing Republicans who wrested control of the GOP with Trump. The support of a Treasonous Insurgency they make excuses for, coupled with ill-advised denial will continue to weaken the party more. If they want to be losers, let them.

It's funny, I never see the never-Trumper types that you refer to in real life.

Never-Trumpers seem to be made up of establishment Republican politicians (and media), and internet accounts that can't even be verified as real people.

The vast majority of conservative voters stood behind Trump once he became President, including the ones that may have voted for someone else like Ted Cruz in the primary.

Trump exposed the Republican establishment for the weak do-nothings they are. They will fail because they chose hate for Trump over the interests and desires of their own constituents. I won't be surprised if many of the Liz Cheney types get primaried in 2022. They deserve it.

So, you are calling Reagan and Bush weak? The people who make up most of the mainstream Republican Party, or "never-Tumpers," as you call them voted Reagan and George W. Bush in for two terms. What I am hearing is that your extremist, White-Wing, Insurrectionist loser, is better than Reagan. Make sure that real Republicans know that you think they and Reagan are weak. That will make them loyal to your cult. Dig the hole deeper.

Hello- we have a two party system. All of us that normally vote Republican voted for Reagan and W. Although W was not that great, and we were holding our noses to give him a second term.

Never-Trumpers are idiots. If we had followed their advice, Hillary Clinton would be president today.
