E: The pig ones look like hell spawn, Quilladin and Chesnaught just look bad and from experience I know they don't have a good move pool, Swampert just looks bad to me, and Rillaboom looks like a buff monkey and I don't like it. (most other pokemon I hate bc of appearance)
D: Grovyle, although a lot of people say it is cooler than sceptile, looks meh to me. Tododile looks cute, but also it looks like it could seriously injure you in seconds, which ruins the cute effect for me. I would rank charizard higher, because I genuinely like it's design, but it's used so much by Game freak that i've come to dislike it, but I don't totally hate it. And Incineroar looks like it should be fire-fighting type.
C: Greninja is cool, but it was so overused in competitive and in playthroughs that i've come to dislike it. heck, even game freak gave it a mega in the anime.. kinda. Oshawott is cute but it's evolutions weigh it down for me. Sceptile looks cool, and I like it's design, but it's so overliked by the community that I have to put it down to C tier.
B: Mudkip: Better than it's evolutions. It's cute, but it's evolutions weigh it down for me a bit, so I put it in C. Torracat and Litten have cool designs and a nice move pool, but other alolan starters are cooler than it and incineroar weighs them down for me. And Raboot looks like a ninja. That's cool.
A: I love the Rowlet line, but Dartrix looks a little worse to me than the others, so it gets A tier. Same with Wartortle, Venasar, Ivysaur, Combusken, and Blaziken. The snivy and popplio line look awesome, and have good movesets, but I just like other pokemon more, so they get A tier.
S: The first pokemon game I ever played was pokemon Y, and I chose fennekin, so I have a bit of a bias to fennekin. But I lost the game somehow, so I never got to finish it, and this is why I also have a bias to Rowlet/Decidueye, because pokemon Sun was the first pokemon I ever finished. Rowlet, to me at least, just looks super cute and derpy, and decidueye just looks cool as heck. I also love it's special move, spirit shackle. I chose sobble when I first played pokemon shield, so I also have a bit of a bias towards that. I also think sobble looks really derpy and cute.
And that's my opinions.
