I am deaf teacher professionalisms is very important to me. She wore MAGA hat while interpreting for trump and was interpreting for many other pro-Trump supporters. It is violation of contract for any interpreters. They need to show none of favors for whom they support and show no conflict of interest.

The science and fair election deniers have no place in our government. Biden's administration must be above reproach to help us climb out of the rot from 2016-2020.

As if any single interpreter could not mislead the deaf regardless of wearing a hat or holding any political belief. Fake people pretending to care about the deaf, they love you!.

When you consider how few people are deaf in the population and the fact that technologies which many deaf people do already possess are available to all of them to do the job of these Sign People. Then the need to have Sign People at all on every press release is minimal.
You could supply every deaf person with the necessary tech to convert speech to text for less than continuing to run ALS sign people for any period of length (1 yr or 2).
Then you'd solve the non-issue of sign people holding personal beliefs opposite to the party they're signing on behalf.
