Please remember that 10 short years ago fluoride in the water, genetically modified food and Epstein's Lolita Express were all "conspiracy theories" only discussed by the tin foil hat crowd.

I do not know this specific case, I am talking about conspiracy theories without foundation, for example: Flat Earth

I am NOT advocating for flat Earth but...Can you answer how far away the sun or moon is? The speed we orbit or rotate? Very few people can answer the most basic questions but are absolutley POSITIVE the other side is wrong. The numerology of the heliocentric model is pretty bizarre.

Elon Musk and Michio Kaku have both said they believe we are in a simulation. While I probably do not agree with that either, neither of those guys are idiots.

We still cannot explain the Great Pyramids, Chichen Itza or Machu Picchu. Maybe the right path is to error on the side of freedom of speech and let us sort out the "facts" the best we can.

Again...What is "fact" today is often disproven tomorrow. If we give the power to the "fact checkers" we are in big trouble. I strongly believe we should error on the side of free speech. Watch Reefer Madness to see what was "fact" about Cannabis in the 1940's.

I know that nothing is definitive, which does not mean that we cannot believe the facts, nor am I limiting anyone's freedom of expression, the meme I made was about those "theories" that don't even have the least support and logic , there are some of those that were used to try to justify the deaths of innocents.

The Great Pyramids of Egypt have already been explained, I know that for many people science is confusing and bizarre, but that is not entirely incomprehensible, it is difficult but it is not impossible.The questioning "world is a simulation" is more philosophical than scientific in origin.I understand a certain philosophical skepticism about the things of the world, because there are many things that we think is true or a lie and it turns out to be the opposite or something totally different than expected.

We agree but...The Pyramids have been explained with an explanation that is universally accepted? I have not seen that. Can you send info?

As far as I know, the pyramids of Egypt were built, by: slaves and free workers, over several years, using engineering techniques of the time and some clever tricks, such as: ramps to take the blocks to the highest places.

I don't have links to send you with information from trusted sites in English. (My writing in English is not 100% and most of the sites I search for are in my native language). history you will notice that the misconceptions, false news and conspiracy theories, make us think that the Egyptians could not build pyramids).

And as far as I know it's a more accepted explanation today. Sorry, I don't really have links for you to send at the moment, in my history book it's like this.
