Seriously. There are some Dems in my family, all whom vote straight ticket every election and I got this idea after hearing one say they would have done better voting for Carter again. And these are same older relatives who have expressed buyer's remorse over Carter many times. So, yeah, why??? lol

Interesting how your inspiration came about as I enjoyed your meme and thought it deserved MANY MORE views/likes. My parents were strong Democrats. I miss them a lot (they are both dead) but I am hoping they are not still voting Democrat. 🤞 My mother was very political (I had not been strongly involved until about the last ten years or so) and I would love to talk to her now. She just couldn't have become as radical/evil as these Dems are and I trust I could have turned her around but will never know. I truly think the Democrat Party has been hijacked.

I believe you are correct. Of course, my m still votes Democrat. She has never bee political, though, but always maintained that if the party was good enough for her father it is good enough for her, lol One would think it might have occured to her to change parties after a failed first marriage to certain Senator's grandson, but nah, lol But my father was a staunch Republican and more politically minded, though I strongly suspect if he were still alive he'd be put out with the establishment poo-head rinos. Me, I am a constitutionalist Libertarian.
