Police have known how to stop protests long before they can hope to storm the Capitol or other major targets for decades, including Black Lives Matter protest that never could have gotten into the Capitol that way! At a minimum, this is gross incompetence, and a major double standard for progressive causes; or, if that doesn't explain it, it may be a far-fetched Conspiracy Theory out of the Twilight Zone!
