The brewing GOP Civil War will likely be won by MAGA, but at the cost of repelling upwardly mobile Republicans and corporate donors. In close elections, losing even 0.5% of your electorate is fatal, and that's exactly what we saw in the GA runoffs. The "accelerationism" you speak of will simply be an acceleration of a permanent Democratic governing majority. The GOP will continue to fester as a regional backwater party in red states where their authority isn't meaningfully challenged and they therefore have no impetus to grow and adapt.

And so the embittered husk of the Republican Party will continue on this path for as long as it takes until they realize that in order to win national elections, they have to be a big tent party again.
