How much did Trump charge the government? Because he sure as hell wouldn't do it for free.

This is an unsubstantiated rumour by a far-right news outlet. Troops were taking breaks in the parking garage because their shifts were a few hours at a time and their hotels were a little too far away to make it practical that they go all the way back there to take their breaks. They weren't sleeping in the garage like the rumor says. The National Guard said they never partnered with Trump Hotels and Trump Hotels won't comment on who stayed there and when. Yeah, I know. The article says Trump gave them "permission to stay". As if it was some grand gesture on his part. I'm guessing nobody took him up on it after they saw the per-night rate. ;)
