I'm going through my own struggles, and decided to share this. You cannot judge someone based on the front they put up.

Because one day humanity will be gone, and even if we did find aliens, they will also all die out. That means that humans will all be forgotten like we never existed.

Well I believe in life after death, so it's not exactly something I'm afraid of myself.

I believe when we're aliven't, we're gone.

Honestly, I can't imagine where I'd be at right now if I believed that. I don't mean that offensively or anything, but I don't know what I'd do without hope.
