@Froggo_Kid, not all of Trump's supporters are violent. A very few of his supporters were doing anything illegal.

Yes, I watched as Trump lead the charge against the Capitol attempting to overthrow the government. Please do your own research and stop watching the fake news.

Trump told them to peacefully protest. He never would have wanted them to storm the Capitol, and after the riot he condemned it. Do YOUR own research. Also, @Doge_Gods_LOL, if you are insulting me and don't even take the time to capitalize or punctuate your sentences, your opinion is probably not worth my time.

I was being sarcastic to Doge.

“Appearing at what could be his last rally as the sitting president, Trump exhorted his supporters “to fight.” Yep, he 100% wanted it to be peaceful. He only condemned the people who stormed it because he had to, as he could get in even more trouble.

And calling someone a moron isn’t an argument.

My argument was clear. There are many definitions to fight. Your argument is moronic and that reply was a deflection from my argument instead of a challenge to it because you have none.

It is not moronic in any way. Trump wanted that behaviour to happen. Why would he have called the rioters patriots then?

He never did call the rioters patriots. Feel free to find a quote saying so. Like usual your beliefs and reality are divergent in the ways media wants it to be. Trump was actually presidential believe it or not when he addressed what was going on. It was just overshadowed because Biden beat him to the punch and the media hates Trump.

"It's a very tough period of time," he said. "But we can't play into the hands of these people. We have to have peace," he said.

"So go home. We love you. You're very special. You've seen what happens, you see the way others are treated that are so bad and so evil. I know how you feel. But go home, and go home in peace."

If only he acted similarly during the summer riots we might have been better off but party politics has politicians playing for their tribe instead of everyone.

Still can't find the actual quote can you. Because it doesn't exist. Why do you even bother if you aren't here to learn.

"The 75,000,000 great American Patriots who voted for me, AMERICA FIRST, and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, will have a GIANT VOICE long into the future," Trump tweeted on Friday morning. "They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form!!!"

Minutes later, the president issued another tweet, writing that he would not be attending the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.

The tweets came hours after Trump released a pre-recorded video decrying the violence in the U.S. Capitol as un-American.

"The demonstrators who infiltrated the Capitol have defiled the seat of American democracy," Trump said, reading his speech from a teleprompter. "To those who engaged in the acts of violence and destruction, you do not represent our country. And to those who broke the law, you will pay."

I read it did you? His voters are patriots the rioters are criminals and you are too blinded by bias to comprehend a damn thing.

Less than 48 hours after a violent mob of the president's supporters breached the U.S. Capitol in an attempted insurrection that led to the death of a police officer, Donald Trump is again calling his followers "patriots."

You do realise you only looked at the link? The quote there DOES exist, but if you had the patience to scroll for a total of 5 seconds you would see it!

Yes, but would you encourage people “to fight” to fight for something maybe, but not just “to fight”. Plus, he called the rioters patriots.

Has Trump ever called people to violence before? Is it typical of him to want violence? No. He wants everyone to be peaceful. He wanted them to stand up for their right to pick the president, not for them to be violent.
0 ups, 4y
A.) He still called them patriots, and told them to fight.
B.) People do have a right to pick the president, and people used their right to vote for Biden.
0 ups, 4y
Plus, he called the mob “great patriots”
