And? I just spoke to a coworker whose older relative died of Covid. She and her family were devastated. I'm assuming you wouldn't try that line on her: "It's okay, she was old and going to die anyway." Lives, even elderly or diabetic lives, have value.

And I love statistics! They can be used to push a lot of agendas, though, so they have to be read in context. And yours includes the rider: 60% of Covid deaths were NOT people in nursing homes (so, yeah, approximately 240,000).

True, though I don't really think that number of deaths is accurate.

You're right, the consensus is that it's an undercount.
