I agree with what you are pointing out to me. While House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy was not that crazy about impeachment, only 10 Republicans caved to the Democrats. With Senator Mitch McConnell having premeditations on convicting President Donald Trump, I believe there are 17 Republicans planning to convict him. Right now, there are 63 United States Senators willing to convict President Trump.

Ross Perot started his third party only with money and was a parallel to the Republican platform. That was how was ended up with Bill Clinton. However, the Patriot Party has a purpose of being founded, and it is to compete against the illusions in the Republican Party. I believe the Patriot Party has a better shot than Ross Perot's Reform Party. Remember Trump was kicked out of the Reform Party after he was called a "Hitler lover" by Pat Buchanan in 2000.
