The FBI is pursuing a group of criminals who attacked American democracy. The 70 million plus people who voted for Trump but didn't try to destroy our constitutional democracy are fine.

Also, I feel fairly certain that it's a different group of celebrities (since it's 70 years later).

I've seen various, older celebrities who weren't old enough to be part of it but remember and are deeply offended that the American govt could do such a thing. There have been a few biopics and movies over the years that took a deep dive. Guilty Suspicion (Deniro) The Majestic (Jim Carrey) Trumbo Michael Douglas. Those actors all had something to say about it. As for today, there are many celebrities coming forward suggesting that "all" Trump supporters be "deprogrammed". A rational person knows this ain't never gonna happen but how many will be targeted in the interest of subduing the 70 plus million who are pissed off?

I have a family member who had got questioned by those goons. It was no joke, and the people who are upset about the McCarthy trials are right to be.

Going after random citizens for espousing vaguely left wing political views and going after literal insurrectionists who stormed the f**king Capitol are not remotely analogous to each other. Jfc y'all want to to be victims so bad it's insane.
