No country has even been 100% socialist and no country ever has ever completely eliminated poverty in their country, but countries that are more socialist have better outcomes than those that are not.

What do you mean social programs driven by free market capitalism? That doesn't make sense. Social programs are funded by taxes, and most democratic socialists do advocate for the expansion of social programs
