I guess you've misunderstood the entire concept of the 1st amendment. It only protects you from the GOVERNMENT sueing you merely for expression your opinion. It does NOT grant the right to tell me to shut up or about internet behavior in general. As a matter of fact the 1st amendment doesn't not anything of the sort at all.

Of course, my own country also has the freedom of speech covered in its constitution, which is article 7 in the Dutch constitution, since I live in the Netherlands, and although the wording in the Dutch constitution is different than in the U.S. constitution (and then I don't mean because of the Dutch and English languages) the concept is the same, and also misinterpreted in the same manner.

The concept of freedom of speech is misinterpreted nearly in all countries that have to covered in their constitution. However since a constitution's primary function is only to protect civilians against authorities and governments abusing their power, it only makes sense that the laws on freedom of speech work the way I just explained.
