I took this this morning 1/18-21 out my front window 7:15 this morning in my PJ's with my Nikon D3400 set to auto.

Wow, that's awesome. How do you capture that awesome moment? Does your camera take a flurry of pictures that capture everything that happens in a short span or something like that? I don't know how nice cameras work, but that's what my intuition is telling me.

I love raptors, so hawks are one of my favorite animals. That red tailed hawk is majestic!

I do have that capability with my camera but this morning was just luck. when I'm home i leave my camera set up on a tripod in my front window cause my bird feeder is just below the limb the hawk is on. he saw me it startled him i clicked the shutter just as he was taking off sometimes I get lucky :-)
