No Upvote Beggars

Is upvote begging still a thing? I haven't looked at the "fun"stream in months.

OMG, thanks for the upvote! Upvote begging is still a thing but it is slowly dying due to us telling upvote beggars to stop. (probably due to us telling upvote beggars to stop). I have seen very few upvote begging memes though.

It won't be gone for long. Upvote begging has its phases of popularity, then falls off when there's an "anti-begging" movement. I've seen it happen several times since I joined. It's like the circle of life: it's here for awhile, then it dies, then it returns in some dreadful reincarnation months in the future.

oh, that's bad. This actually might encourage several upvote beggars to stop. The only problem is that it won't completely stop upvote begging but we might get several people to stop

I'm not too worried about it. It just ticks me off when upvote begging memes hit #1 and get 500 upvotes, while funny and original memes fizzle out and die.

and yes, It is like people are crazy and ignore the good memes but upvote the trash upvote begging memes
