when does he say storm the capital? he could've chosen better words but I believe he truly didn't mean violence with those words.

His speech filled them with fury over a "stolen election," and gave them encouragement that it might still be overturned with "boldness." On the day votes were due to be certified. He sent them moving in the direction of the Capitol. He didn't stick around to control or direct it.

Trump could have held this rally any day in any part of the country.

He chose Jan. 6. He chose D.C.

He's not boneheaded enough to literally say "storm the Capitol," but if you put 2 & 2 together it isn't hard to tell.

I don't know what he thought would happen when the ppl were gathering, but I don't think he thought violence. as he said, they were going to pretty much cheer ppl on with "boldness and pride". if I was there, I would not take that as "go storm the capitol".

Many did not, but far too many did.

Some of those may be excusable, but they clearly show a violent mindset. I think he wanted violence on the 6th.
