Funny how things turned out. Signed a withdrawal deal that Biden had to uphold. Trump had it dated for Winter 2020, Biden postponed until the following August. Seems that he really didn't bring peace there at all. There was that "agreement" with Palestine which really only favored one party. So, no he didn't bring peace. He brought tyranny and called it peace.

There was peace, and if the current president kept a strong stance of "the Taliban needs to stay peaceful or we destroy them" like Trump did, it would have stayed that way.

So, Tyranny.

Maybe from the Taliban's point of view, but freedom for the people of Afghanistan who don't want to be forced into subjection to the Taliban.

Too bad Trump signed the agreement with Taliban of pulling all forces a out...

And? We don't need soldiers on the ground to drone strike the Taliban if they try to take over.

They have a history hiding behind children; this is not a solution

Trump's whole campaign was on "America First." Trump signed an agreement that Biden was forced to honor.
Trump voters got what they voted for.

No, it isn't a solution. There was no solution in this case.

Not everyone on the right holds the same views. I don't like being the world police, but I believe more strongly that it is in America's interest to prevent Afghanistan or any state from being a terrorist haven. If I had it my way, we would have had a gradual transition out by replacing 1 for 1 Afghan soldiers into our bases and our soldiers out. neither side did that though. Yes, Trump's timeline was flawed, but more damaging was Bidens weak stance against the Taliban.

Biden inherited a plethora of political landmines.

As if! he inherited a vaccine to a pandemic that he just had to keep distributing (which he did, so props to him for that), an economy that was being held down by the pandemic and would have skyrocketed under any competent administration, and a stable Afghanistan that hadn't had a single US soldier killed in over a year.

He also inherited a dumpster fire economy that was the result of a pandemic that was horrifically managed by the same dumpster fire administration that boasted about its economy that tried to downplay the virus throughout the entire year of 2020. Biden also inherited the agreement with the Taliban to gtfo Afghanistan that Trump said to be done in the December before the US pullout in August.
Biden inherited a minority of American citizens who have lost faith in the election system by bad faith actions by the Trump Administration and his supporters. Biden has also inherited an economy that serves the richest billionaires in the country (no federal tax on any of those businesses) but charges federal tax for everyone else. Stinks like corruption. Now, his [Trump's] insurrectionists are ratting each other out because he didn't give them pardons like he promised. These insurrectionists, who were claimed to be ANTIFA and BLM. Like Ashley Babbit. She's actually a double flag for ANTIFA/BLM, disguised as MAGA, that the MAGA are martyring... So... there's that.
