well, it the democrats end the filibuster, they will be able to and politically inclined to make D.C. and Puerto Rico states. That would make it 50 again.
Let's just pray that doesn't happen. that would remove 4 senate seats from red states and add 4 more seats in new blue states. They would never be able to lose that majority.
