petco has suppliers who operate farms. The animals have no space and dont have food for days or weeks on end. They also dont treat animals properly.You should buy it from a small store. If you want proof, look at the betta fish. They are in plastic cup that are incredibly small. But on the bright side, you can get free animals from petsmart if you can prove that the animal is injured
