I know y'all are having trouble with the concept of counting, but if you literally count the number of police at the summer BLM protests and the number of police on Wednesday both at the Capitol, one number is WAAAAAAY higher than the other.
The democrat mayor of DC lightened security the day before, but once the police and National Guard got there, they were just as strict. Many arrests were made, tear gas was used, police were barricading, etc. You are full of it.

And if this was a surprise event in any way shape or form, you might have a point - but everyone there AND TRUMP HIMSELF broadcast weeks ahead of time what the f**king plan was. There was no excuse for a light touch police presence.
EVERYONE! STOP TRYING TO COMPARE/DEFEND
EITHER BLM AND ANTIFA OR THE RIOTERS AT THE
CAPITOL. WE CAN ALL AGREE THAT BOTH WERE RADICAL
PEOPLE IN THE FRINGES GIVING THE REST OF THE
PROTESTERS A BAD NAME.BLAMING A WHOLE GROUP ON
EITHER SIDE FOR A FEW RADICALS IS
POINTLESS AND JUST
MAKES YOU LOOK STUPID. POLICE WERE NOT EASY ON
EITHER GROUP ONCE THEY TURNED VIOLENT. END OF STORY.
ANYONE JUSTIFYING SOME VIOLENCE, THEN
CONDEMNING THE REST, IS HOLDING A DOUBLE STANDARD.
BOTH SIDES BROKE THE LAW AND SHOULD BE HELD
ACCOUNTABLE. I KNOW BOTH THE
LEFT AND RIGHT
WILL HATE ME FOR THIS, BUT IT HAS TO BE SAID!
