"Have an original thought" indeed | I’M SORRY Am I speaking to the man who invented the term “Trump Derangement Syndrome”? | image tagged in kylie phone glasses | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
If you didn’t invent this term, then it’s not an original thought of yours either

Did you know that?

Give me a good, intellectual analysis of Donald Trump's domestic and foreign policy.

Oh, you have no idea about any of that? And by extension you have no idea why you hate him?

Imagine my shock.

You’re a Trump defender? Then defend his record!

As for me, a few things that come to mind:

—Failure to take Covid seriously time and time again. A response that was just a little bit more scientific and forthright could have at least halved the deaths
—Child separations at the border: racist AF & hundreds of children still haven’t been re-united with their parents
—North Korea gambit produced no deal, only gave Kim Jong Un propaganda photos
—Re: Iran & assassinating Soleimani: Reckless, created unnecessary risk of war and led to retaliatory missiles strike against U.S. soldiers in Iraq who ended up with long-term symptoms
—Surrounds himself with corrupt criminals, many of whom he recently pardoned for staying silent and obstructing justice basically
—Failed to divest, self-dealt, appointed family members, abused the Presidency to enrich himself and his clan
—Severely undermined trust in elections with baseless voter fraud theories, proximately leading to the Capitol Hill riot we saw this week and an untold amount of future MAGA related political violence
—Drug the Republican Party into the gutter
—Has exploited and sharpened divisions between Americans to the point of placing the country on a civil war footing
—Has cheapened and degraded American civics and morals in 1000s of ways big and small with racist, sexist, xenophobic, and anti-science lies, abuse, and slander

But feel free to give a “nuanced” analysis of your own for why we should overlook all the above and give him yet another chance

Trump campaigned on stronger border security, which would have strengthened the covid response (which btw is NOT as serious as it is made out to be), but was called racist and xenophobe every step of the way and opposed by your heroes the democrats.

Child separations from suspects under arrest is standard operating procedure: they do the same thing when drunk drivers are stopped when children are in the car. So no, not Trump's policy.

Trump doesn't run North Korea.

Iran had graffiti all over its capital after the death of Soleimani saying "thank you Mr Trump."

Trump didn't even claim the presidential salary while in office so no, didn't enrich himself. And his ner worth went DOWN.

The voter fraud was not baseless; there are over 500 sworn affidavits of misconduct and fraud, all of which count as evidence in a court of law, and not a single judge actually heard the evidence but rather dismissed the whole case with a pre written statement.

Was the republican party reputable before him? I'm astonishingly sure it wasn't. Have you never heard of George W Bush?

Cheapened and degraded American civics? As I recall it was HIM saying that history needed to be taught and your statues and monuments needed protection.

WOW. Wrong about literally everything. That was EMBARRASSING for you!
