In this instance, they’re one in the same. They stormed the US Capitol, a representation of our democracy, in an attempt to change the results of an election. That IS domestic terrorism.

The FBI defines domestic terrorism as “ Violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups to further ideological goals stemming from domestic influences, such as those of a political, religious, social, racial, or environmental nature.”......but go ahead and explain the difference to the family of the cop who was killed doing his job.
