I had the power glide transmission in the V8 400 in the car. The car weighed over 3500 pounds but still did nice burnouts.

Never knew it was a 400ci, 360 hp, that’s literally a drag car.

It was such a sweet ride. I miss it so much. I moved my whole apartment with that car in one trip.

had benches in front and the back. So I had 3 up front and 6 in the back, Girls sitting on boyfriends laps. I also had air shocks in the back and I had to put in air because is was riding kind of low.

Ah, I see. You should’ve stiffened the shocks (Kids calls it springs) and hit every speed bump in the city with the people in the back row.

But you still need to pay for their medical bills though. Tough.

It was friends seeing how many I could fit in there. I had 9 people ride in that car at one time, all inside.

How much was one GTO when you bought it?

I think I paid about $600 for it back in the mid 80's. This is before all the car shows and internet.

Oh wait. It was the year it didn’t have the tri-power engine, it was optional. But damn, are you lucky, those GTO’s are rare.

I had to sell it because I needed the money. It would be worth so much more today but I sold it for around $1000 back in 1989.

Wasn’t $1000 a lot back than? If you sold it now, how much would you sell it.

It would be worth about $30,000 to $40,000 today. Yes, I kick myself whenever I think about it.

My older and smarter brother has a 1970 Judge like the one pictured, original and unrestored.

Cool car. My sister dated a guy with a 1970. It was a really nice car. I liked the roomier sized 1967.
