Human nature is also why capitalism is a flawed system, although it has worked out much better than socialism and/or communism ever has. That's probably because communism and socialism allows the government to have iron-grip control over just about everything, and as they say, absolute power corrupts absolutely, therefore a system that gives a certain group of people complete power, democratically chosen or not, is destined to fall every time. The main flaws with capitalism are that the lax rules of the "free" market allow not only for large corporate monsters to take control of their prospective markets and either kill or buy out the little guys, but it also allows them to gain enough money to lobby congressmen and essentially write laws and have governmental control and power, which then gives them leeway to do some f**ked up shit, such as have control over water supply or not pay taxes. However, these things don't effect us directly, so we collectively ignore them (with the exception of the left, but "eat the rich" isn't exactly a compelling argument). not only do the flaws of capitalism need more attention, but they also need solutions. Of course no system is going to be perfect, but these flaws with capitalism are rather detrimental and should be fixed.
