With these pardons, Trump is pissing all over the Rule of Law.
He has pardoned war criminals who were justly convicted of murdering innocents.
He has pardoned criminals who justly convicted campaign finances.
He pardoned people like Manafort and Stone. Kushner's father.
Just because he has the ability does not make it right to exercise that ability.
If he is not held accountable, then there's no barrier for a future president to pardon anyone for anything at any time.
An extreme example: The sitting President says, "jeez, I sure hope no one kills my opponents in the primary or in the general election." Boom. Then they stay quiet and get a pardon.
For the Rule of Law to mean anything, then he has to be held accountable.
