Another who makes their characters' backstories into rollercoasters of grief, suffering, and trauma!

It’s funny because you don’t seem to stop with just losing a parent or something, you always take to a level where they either
A. Become super shy and jumpy and literally cannot communicate
B. Turn evil
Or C. Just can’t: emotionless, pessimistic, literally any negative trait but still make them nice

I’ve made a lot of ocs and all the tragic ones fit into one of those

Most of my OCs have very complex backstories that tie into the backstories of some of my other OCs, since I try to keep everything I create connected to some extent.

Usually my characters meet each other during the beginning of my stories, the. They’re just like “my family’s dead” “that’s rough buddy”

Oddly enough, my most fleshed-out character is the only one whose backstory is the most repetitive.

Ok, but can we take a moment to appreciate this turned into a full out conversation about ocs
