I've honestly only played Pokemon Go

Pokemon Sword and Shield for S w i t c h and le Pokemon ultra sun and moon for le 3ds

For switch pokemon shield as pokemon go is stupid and for 3ds pokemon Black/White and Black/White 2 in that order bc they have good music a lot of new Pokemon and in those games the story from the first game carries over unlike the other games

Pokemon let's go Pikachu/ Eevee maybe, if you're a beginner

For beginners, I’d say Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee for the Switch, and Pokémon X and Y for the 3ds.
