Speaking of wives, we actually have some drama unfolding here.
My wife started coughing and not feeling good Saturday night. She didn’t have a fever, but was unable to smell a candle we have that has a strong scent.
Things didn’t get any better by Sunday, so we made appointments to be seen and get tested for coronavirus.
I feel fine, but could certainly be affected. She’s doing ok, but we’ll see how things progress. I am not allowed to go to work, understandably, until I get the “all clear”.
We think it was from grocery shopping on Wednesday.
She wears the mask and uses sanitizer, but it’s not perfect.

Yeah! My wife is something special. Sorry to hear about your wife, not being able to smell the candle seems somewhat suspicious. I hate to admit that we aren't as careful as we probably should be. We wear masks where required, but not where they aren't. On a brighter note we welcomed grandchild 11 last night, a healthy girl that we are still waiting for a name. Be sure to let me know how the tests turn out.

Thanks for the concern and well wishes for my wife. She seems almost normal right now, thank God.
I was worried because I’d see where things stated out rather mild, only to get hammered the next day.
So far, so good.
Yeah, we used the candle as a test since all this began last year. One of the main symptoms seemed to be loss of smell.
When she couldn’t smell this candle, I got scared.

That's great news! Actually my wife developed a cough over the weekend, but she didn't lose her taste/smell and didn't run a fever. I burned out my nose in a high school chemistry experiment gone bad, so the sniff test doesn't work for me. I take my temperature each morning before work and so far so good. Prayers for negative tests. :-)

Update on test: wife came back NEGATIVE!
Mine didn’t come back yet.
I’m not allowed to go to work until I test negative.
I work second shift, so there’s still time.

That's fantastic! I was a bit concerned because getting the "btbeeston nose" is one of the major symptoms. Btw the woman blowing me a nose was definitely a lol! Party on! :-)

Howdy, all is well, but it’s been very busy. The btbeeston nose is still with us, although there’s times where she can smell a bit. I don’t think she has / had the virus, just the btbeeston nose.

Busy here too. Around here it comes in handy to have btbeeston nose as we have three golden. I feel sorry for my wife because she's always commenting about how the house smells like dogs, but I can't smell it. If the btbeeston nose persists maybe you could get some goldens. :-)
