Thats a good question. Why is Trump asking if he can pardon himself for federal crimes? Afterall, he has asked his own white house advisors about if he is allowed to issue a pardon for himself. And he has been asking this repeatedly of advisors since 2017. People who are innocent don't continuously ask if they can pardon themselves with their pardoning powers. What crime does Trump himself believes he needs a pardon to protect himself from? Just sayin.
