What country is in your esteemed opinion?

Countries like Norway and Sweden and Iceland. They have good aspects of different political ideas. Like they have universal healthcare and civil liberties. In America we can't even drink unpasteurized milk. In Sweden and Iceland it's legal and in Norway it's legal but regulated. As countries they might not have the largest economies or gdp but they function very well.

The ability to drink unpasteurized milk is your benchmark of freedom? Buy a cow or go to the farm. They don’t allow the sale of unpasteurized milk because of the potential to sicken people. I’m sure if you live close enough to the source you can drink all the unpasteurized milk you can stomach.

Both Norway and Sweden are capitalist states. They have high taxes to provide a higher level of services. That’s the trade off. If you want compassionate capitalism be prepared for high taxes. In a large country, huge taxes because of the corruption and waste.

it wasn't a benchmark just an example. I think it is a worthwhile trade off. I think extra taxation is warranted if it provides better law enforcement and healthcare for all.

It has its drawbacks, as I said in big countries. It’s great if you have a cold or a toothache but if you need more extensive healthcare the waits are sometimes fatal. Healthcare needs to be affordable not necessarily socialized.
