Amid allegations of voter fraud, litigation in key states, and state legislative hearings an order can still be issued saying the Electoral College would be postponed. There is nothing in the Constitution that would prevent them from doing that. The dates for the Electoral College are not in the Constitution. Even if the EC voted on Monday, the court cases could nullify the EC votes for contested states reducing the votes for both candidates below 270 before Congress counts the votes on January 6th. 😉
