I don't know what, "some" of my comments have to do with police transparency. THAT, should be universally accepted practice regardless of political persuasion. They work for US. We pay their salary's.
Public opinion is biased because there is no transparency. In almost every case, body camera film and facts, are not released even to the family. With no transparency it is logical to assume officials are hiding something. All too often when someone is killed, somehow the cameras were turned off or the police were not wearing them.
Since 2005, there have been 11 police officers convicted of manslaughter so yes, it does happen but it is extremely rare.
