I support ending abuse, but I also think the community could benefit from clearer guidelines.

These terms contain a reference to the potential for accounts to be deleted at ImgFlip’s discretion. I definitely support the thrust of these terms, but I think a little more clarity on the account deletion issue at this point wouldn’t be misplaced. I’ll propose a few suggestions.

Some specific violations that might be considered:

—Death threats
—Threats of violence
—Doxxing
—Threats of doxxing
—Hacking another ImgFlipper’s account
—Alt accounts used for the sole or primary purpose of harassing others on the site
—Using ImgFlip as if it was a dating site (i.e. sexual harassment)
—Child porn
—Consistent spam
—Consistent hate speech
—A pattern of smaller violations that in its totality adds up to a big one

You could always go to a mod's profile and post a comment directly on one of their memes or invite them to a chat. If someone is really doing rotten things they will be handled. Hopefully.
